Sex Sells on ABC.com

I tend to look at the law section of the news first. I think that the most glaring examples of the dumbing down of America can be found here first. This is also the point of congruence for the stories that highlight the current trend to attempt an overthrow our government by activists and radicals who diligently oppose the Constitution of the United States since it stands in reproof of their beliefs.

Today was interesting because three out of fifteen stories on ABC.com/Law were about SEX. For the mathematically gifted this can be expressed as 20%.

To be fair to ABC it looks like one story was from Business and another from Technology. I guess filler is needed and what’s better than SEX?

The kids are idiots. I hope they get sued by the black people involved, each and every one………. individually. Not that the marchers would gain any money. I’d just like to see the little bigots hauled into court time after time. I hope their parents get sued too. Over and over. Maybe then they’d get the concept that free speech ain’t free when YOU have to pay for it. How many days of work can a redneck lose before he joins the welfare ranks?

This brings to mind one of the most egregious segments of criminal policies of American society.

This man was in the care, custody, and control of the government, against his will. The incumbent duty of the people involved is to provide all citizens equal protection. Somebody needs to be indited here as an accessory to homicide. Maybe then policy would be reviewed to find other solutions to non-violent and most violent torts. Prisons are just wrong.

 Accountability of public servants is totally lacking in our courts and prisons. Of course it starts with the criminals who are called politicians. Irresponsible actions are swept under the rug to keep the gravy train chugging along.

As a person who supports strict gun control in a civilized society I look upon this story as an excellent example of how a non-firearm alternative reduced this to a simple tort, rectifiable in the courts.

If the police here had used a firearm the consequences would be far more serious and long lasting for both the suspect and the police.

It is unfortuate that in today’s society that police must carry guns to do their job. 

The truth is that the NRA is correct as far as they go. “If guns are criminalized then only criminals will have guns”. The actual truth is closer to “If guns are controlled, then it would be clear that uncontrolled guns are held by criminals”. Report them and help us all, including those who use guns correctly, to stay safe. Yes Virginia…..even criminals would prefer to be safe.

The knee jerk reaction is “protect our constitutional right to keep and bear arms”. The fact is that in a civilized society controls are instituted to level the playing field.

Those of us who are anti-gun and gun proponents have no greater or lesser rights.

Many people talk a good game about “constitutional rights” but interpret that to mean THEIR rights. The ultimate test to pass constitutional muster may very well be the golden rule test; would I have others take this action, or any similar action, against me as I am committing against them?

Wow! This little piece allows us to fix at least one early date where the dumbing down of America was in progress.

How is it possible that if he’s 16 he’s RESPONSIBLE for this act but if he has sex with a female teacher he’s a victim?

Of course this will not be the first recorded incident, but one has to hope that wide spread lobotomy by mob rule did not precede this by incident by much. I know, wishes and dreams……….I’m just a hard core optimist.
