I make close to 6 figures and the mortgage calculator says I can afford a $179,000 home, it does'nt take a Rocket Scientist to figure that out, giggle I am. The current home for sale around my area start at $415,000 Space Buck's, I could not even touch that, unless they are offering 60 or 80 year mortgages. I say let them foreclose and bring homes back to affordability. No one forced these people to sign on these loans. I made a bad decision 25 years ago on a loan, guess what I lived with it, learned and paid it off. I am responsibile and no one needed to bail me out.
